Sam Harmon

I grew up playing Drums in middle school when I was 14 years old but never really experienced the creative music process. As I advanced to high school, I received an outstanding musician award when I played Drum set for the Jazz band and I was part of All-state back in 2012 in Coeur D’alene, Idaho. After playing Drums and Percussion for a while, I attended a small private college where I studied music theory and began to teach myself Piano. I learned a variety of different styles of Jazz and other forms of improvisation on the Piano. In the spring of 2017 I received an outstanding Jazz performance award for playing keyboard in a Jazz combo that traveled to Sun Valley and Lionel Hampton Jazz festival. I also received an outstanding music theory award in the spring of 2017 and 2018 for doing really well with composition and theory studies. Finally, I started seriously learning Guitar in the spring of 2020 and have been playing jazz and got to perform on the Extreme tour as well as other venues like: hotels, indie music festivals, and high school gyms.
